the cart witnessing work is a waste of time.
so is trying to reason with them.
unless you asked them what single thing would destroy their faith.
and it felt wonderful!!.
i went into the city to where i knew there was a "cosmopolitan witnessing" trolley, because i wanted to ask a simple bible-based question.
the trolley was attended by an elder and a sister who was another elder's wife.

i would love to know the stats of how many hours were spent, standing by a cart, or sitting at a local town fair with jw table tent set up, compared to the number of bible studies started that led to baptism since the inception of the carts.
anyone have any idea?
if i had to guess i would say thousands of hours pent standing by a cart, and maybe less then 5 that actually got baptized.
Do carts need permits or can anyone start one?
just what i was thinking as i read this thread.
first pic shows a cart obstructing the pavement outside a supermarket / post office
that was last summer--not seen it there since.
next pic is a cart occupying a dirty doorway of a closed-down shop. doesnt it look uninviting ?
jehovah's witnesses have never come to my door but they have come to my girlfriends door.
i have coached her as to what to say or ask but it appears that they always seem to come when she's not there.
.....just curious would you get into it with a jehovah's witness at your door especially if it was someone you did not know?.
listen to what they say---then ask them if they really believe it.

i wonder how many thousands of dubs have quit the cult since the carts were introduced.

from my observations of the carts--in 2 different towns-----the dubs only seem to talk to other dubs.
how many of you know about this san diego mansion?
i just found out about it recently.
apparently it was built for old testament faithful men to live in upon resurrection in 1925 such as abraham, moses etc.
What staggers me about the BethSarim episode is the arrogance that the men (and women) of old would be resurrected in California, America. Resurrection? ok but in the middle east where they originated.
why ? everyone knows Gahd is american
i would like to say i am not in and my wife is a marginal witness at best.
she doesn't say anything bad about the borg or live an amoral lifestyle.
she just doesn't read the bible, or even the tracts anymore and generally has no clue about anything biblical or doctorial related.. i found my wives new card yesterday.
if i were in your position i would just tear it up. maybe your wife wants you to. she could always get another.
another talk from my channel.. gerrit lösch - what the near future holds.
apparently, jehovah god has "revealed" the future to us... unfortunately in 2008 when this talk was given he didnt reveal to them the mass downsizing of bethel staff and buildings, the child molestation payouts and many many changes to doctrine.. https://youtu.be/d8pvnrv5s94.
i just wanted to intoroduce myself.
i have been lurking for some time and finally decided to register and hopefully contribute to this great forum.. i am in my mid 30s and have never been in the truth.
my wife became a jw several years ago and since she is a (mostly) stay at home mom my two boys are also jws.
hi NotAnnointed--welcome to the forum
none of us was born believing in god !
this is my first time posting on here so i’m not sure where to start.
i’m trying to keep it as short as possible since i could expand much more.
i’ve been in the process of waking up in the last year and a half.
hello Untruth
have you considered your plan B ?
what will you do with your life if your wife doesnt wake up?
